How to Become a New Fiend

If you don't like the type of Fiend you roll when creating a character, there is another way to change what type of Fiend you are.

Using Fiend Roll

You can change your Fiend type by receiving a Fiend Roll from lootboxes.

Earning Lootboxes: You can earn lootboxes by intercepting other players when they're attempting to complete a mission in Devil Hunter.

Increasing Fear Levels: For those who need to increase your Fear levels, make sure to visit the Blackmarket outside the Headquarters to purchase Devil Flesh after completing Missions.

Fear levels are crucial for unlocking new skills. Make sure to complete missions and visit the Blackmarket regularly to maintain your progression.

Every Fiend and All Skills

There are 7 playable Fiends that you can get in Devil Hunter: Angel Fiend, Blood Fiend, normal Fiend, Nail Fiend, Shark Fiend, Cosmo Fiend (Jan 26, 2026), and Flea Fiend (new Jan 31, 2026).

Angel Fiend

The Angel Fiend has a distinct pair of wings and a halo above their head. There are 3 skills you can unlock while playing as an Angel Fiend.

Materialize

Fear Level 10

You create a weapon, depending on how long you hold the key. It could become an Angel Sword, Angel Katana, or Angel Spear.

  • Angel Sword: Allows you to dash forward, with a line of lightning behind you.
  • Angel Katana: Has you jump into the air before dashing forward with several sweeps of your weapon.
  • Angel Spear: Allows you to jump into the air, a short distance in front of you, and slam into the ground.

Materialize: Spear

Fear Level 25

You can create a spear in front of you, and you can toss it in any direction you choose. When the spear lands, it creates a small explosion, damaging those near it.

Year Drain

Fear Level 30

When you use Year Drain on an opponent, you grab onto them and pull the life out of their body. This damages them, but heals you in the process.

Blood Fiend

The Blood Fiend has a pair of horns on top of their head. There are 4 different kinds of skills you can unlock as a Blood Fiend.

Blood Knives

Available Immediately

With your blood, you can summon a pair of knives to your hand and use them in combat.

Blood Hammer

Fear Level 10

With your blood, you can create a gigantic hammer that you can use to jump into the air, perform a spin, and slam down to harm multiple enemies in a small area.

Blood Spill

Fear Level 25

You can use your blood to summon spikes to a set location, hitting multiple enemies in that small area. This impales any target in that area of attack.

Blood Scythe

Fear Level 30

You can summon a large scythe using your blood. With it in hand, you can dash forward to perform multiple rapid attacks against an enemy, driving them back for a short time.

Fiend (Normal)

The normal Fiend is the most common Fiend you can be in Devil Hunter. There are 4 skills you can unlock as a standard Fiend, and these are available to every Fiend.

Smell

Fear Level 1

You can see walls for a brief time.

Bite

Fear Level 4

You'll be able to dash forward and hit an enemy with a high-powered bite strike. You grab your target to perform this action before tossing them away from you.

Devil's Knuckle

Fear Level 15

Kneel down to perform two high-powered strikes on the ground, creating an area-of-effect attack, damaging enemies around you. If you are with the second attack, you can follow up to hit an opponent.

Dropkick

Fear Level 20

Dash forward to deliver a leg strike using both of your legs to hit your opponent, pushing them back away from you.

Nail Fiend

The Nail Fiend gives you access to a hammer as a weapon, and you'll have a brain on the right side of your character's face. There are 3 skills you can unlock as this Fiend type.

Strike!

Fear Level 8

Perform a heavy attack against your opponent, striking them with your hammer.

Nail Impalement

Fear Level 25

Create a trap that sends out a series of spikes when an enemy walks over it.

Nail Bounce

Fear Level 30

Slam the ground using your hammer to propel yourself forward, doing multiple frontflips. The hammer strikes smash into the ground, damaging enemies near these attacks.

Shark Fiend

The Shark Fiend type has a distinct Shark-like head for the character, and they have spikey hair. There are 3 skills you can unlock as a Shark Fiend.

Dive

Fear Level 8

You can dive underneath the ground and rush toward an enemy, creating a wave of water above you as you move closer. When you reach an enemy, uppercut into the air to send them flying as you reappear from the ground.

Jaws

Fear Level 25

Your head becomes a shark's face, rushing forward to perform 3 attacks where you snap your jaws at your opponent. You move further forward with every bite.

Maul

Fear Level 30

Grab your opponent and toss them into the air. When they come down, your head becomes that of a shark, grabbing them and flailing them around before you toss them away.

What is Fear Level?

Fear Level is a progression system that determines which skills you can unlock for your Fiend. Each skill requires reaching a specific Fear Level threshold before it becomes available.

How to Increase Fear Level

Complete Missions: Finishing missions rewards Fear Level progression.

Purchase Devil Flesh: Visit the Blackmarket outside Headquarters to buy Devil Flesh, which increases your Fear Level.

Defeat Enemies: Combat encounters contribute to Fear Level growth.
